Nice to meet you! I enjoy reading your posts so guess what? I’m now following 🙂
Be blessed 🙂
Thanks for the support! Do you have a blog I can follow? If so, send me the link. (I had trouble finding it) Thanks! (:

My name is Chuck, I connected to your blog from another one called “Along the dirt path” I saw that you had commented on the pictures of Sleighton School. I grew up there, my father worked there and I spent many days wondering the grounds and buildings. I am seriously thinking about starting a blog about the place but have no clue how to start, since I have never done it before. Maybe you could give me some tips or help me along the way.
Also I would like to say I’m sorry for your loss of your grandmother but I would like to know where she is from and her name. I saw the picture of her and she looks very familiar, like maybe I had her as a teacher in grade school.
Look me up on Facebook, I have posted several pictures of Sleighton School on my page. I am interested in finding more people that have an interest in the place.
Hope to hear from you,
It’s good to hear from you! Sleighton was actually one of my favorite places to explore, and I love hearing from people who have stories about it. I think it would be great for you to start a blog about it. I definitely got a lot of feedback when I posted my photos from there. I’m sure you’d experience the same if you posted about it. It may be a great way for you to connect or reconnect with others who know of Sleighton. Anyone I have spoken to is always eager to tell me stories from their experiences there, or to ask me of mine. I definitely would recommend a portion of your blog be for stories about Sleighton (from you, and anyone else who has stories to contribute)! You are more than welcome to use any of my photos if you’d be interested. Also, I have several more photos I took at Sleighton that aren’t posted to my blog, if you’d like to see them.
Have seen some of your work on other people’s social networking pages. Would love to talk to you about hiring you for a few inspirational photos for my private practice. Let me know if you are interested! Best of luck!
Hey, I’d be interested in hearing more. Why don’t you shoot me an e-mail when you get a chance.

I was there from 1971 to 1973. I t was a beautiful place at one time. The only place that I can ever say I was safe. I have a few pictures from then. Beautiful cottages, we kept emaculate cottages. I was at Robinson, one of the best. Ms Goody the cook, Some of the staff I still remember are MR. NEFF, MS. Anna and various other ones. I wanted to stay until I could graduate, they said no. I never had a chance when they sent me back to the things the same thing I was taken from.
